Learning to code after a full-time job
Most of our front-end learners study in the evenings. We asked them what actually helped them keep going — here are their best habits.

More than two thirds of our front-end learners work full-time while they study. We asked a recent cohort what helped them stay consistent when energy was low.
The most common answer was smaller sessions. Thirty focused minutes on a weekday beat a three-hour marathon on Sunday. Short sessions keep the problem fresh in your head.
Second: write down where you stopped. A single sentence like “next, make the menu close on Escape” removes the friction of starting again the following evening.
Third: lean on the cohort. Posting a half-finished project in the group channel felt scary at first, but the replies usually arrived with exactly the hint people needed.
And finally, protect rest. Learning happens partly while you sleep. Several learners said their breakthroughs arrived the morning after they finally closed the laptop.
